Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Astrobiology

libfemme ( 05/31/2004, 05:35:38 )

You mean seeding from outer space? The idea that a one celled, simple prokaryote, much like today's bacteria, came into existence somehow, on some other planet and was sitting peacefully in its own little rock at home when suddenly a meteor crashes nearby, throwing said rock and the one-celled bacteria clutching to it, hurtling through space. Deprived of water, heat and everything else the cell lies frozen, dormant until the rock/now-asteroid eventually crash lands on Earth? Where it is rehydrated by rain or ocean and starts to grow and divde, replicating and spreading over the planet.Possible. Very little evidence to support that idea as of yet. But not enough evidence against it to completely discredit it either.Maybe.
