Each one of those numbers also represents a person with a name and a family and a life.Those individuals, like all individuals, heal their own bodies by growing new cells naturally. Therapuetic cloning is the same principle, but with human assistance. Why shouldn't an individual use their own cells to repair or replace their own organs? That is how they grew the original organ in the first place. And since our bodies don't automatically know how to do that after we are adults, modern medicine can apply techniques to start the process again.Today the British Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority granted permission for British researchers to clone human embryos for therapuetic reasons. The future comes closer each day!
