I doubt that it's ever going to be possible or desirable to grow an entire body to put a brain into; it would be hard for the rest of the body to function without a brain, and there is the possibility that even a brainless body would have a form of consciousness. I didn't find your political arguments that convincing, although I don't think highly of Bush. Clinton held office during the "bubble" years, and the piper would have had to be paid no matter who got elected.
