Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: RAINBOW CADENZA

You actually found a copy? Neil will be so pleased. He was a personal friend just breaking into print when he published that.I barely remember it now. Except for the fact that I thought he took a serious look at family dynamics and made some speculations about how things might occur. Better than your average evil twin cloning plotline at least. My daughter and I have speculated on what it would like if I were to clone myself and raise it as a second daughter. Since I got along poorly with my own mother and it had a profound affect on me I think the clone would turn out different from me. My daughter disagrees. And since she has been raised by me she's an authority on what kind of mother I would be.However, she's not sure how a clone of herself would turn out if she raised it. I asked her if she could imagine herself being any other way that she is now. She said no, and therefore decided that if she raised her clone the clone would turn out very much like her, despite having been raised by a different mother.I'm sure we will find out someday. Although I would be interested in animal studies of the existing clones. There has been 6 generation of cloned mice. How different are they in temperment? Or does anybody really talk to mice anymore?
