Re: RELIGION vs EVOLUTION

it's nice to believe in something, but wouldn't it be better to believe in something that one can prove absolute? regarding the theory of creation, which i agree could be possible, but think outside the box in a different perspective/context of something being created. it is possible that the idea of creation as depicted in the bible was a creation in itself to hide the truth of the reality? for the better of mankind? to keep mankind from making the same mistakes we apparently have made time and time again, wars, pollution, racism, greed, what if the idea of religion was a creation within itself hoping that someday humans would get it right. but unfortunately our genetic intelligence naturally comes full circle and here we are again, facing total destruction? i to hope that what you believe in is true, but neither of us can prove it to be fact, it's not that i don't believe, there are just too many variables and possibilities to stay limited to one option or reason for being, and i to believe we are not the only intelligent life in this universe or subsequent parallel universes. and you're right, most others would avoid this planet because all our people of power know how to do is destroy what they can't comprehend, why do you think jesus didn't have a chance? if that's how it happened? peace sister erin , a friend always, j.c.
