I suspect that people are gay for various reasons.

I have a friend who is gay, and her voice is a hint or two deeper than most women's voices.

There is no way anyone could convince me that she decided of her own volition to make her voice slightly deeper like that --- unless perhaps I found out she had taken hormones to do that to herself.

On the other hand, I do suspect that some people are conditioned by external life factors into either being gay, or having gay tendencies.

These external factors I suspect include environmental pollutants, such as the synthetic estrogens which man has placed in the enviroment.

They have caused hermophrodite fish to be hatched downstream from where chemical pollutants and sewage have been dumped in England.

It is definite that environmental pollutants can alter the delicate balance of natural hormones and sexual development of wildlife.

Also I think that sometimes people end up gay, perhaps because of molestation, or other such orientation into sex.

For instance if I study pornography which depicts various bodily anatomy and get turned on by it, then it will possibly become a "fetish" to me. And if it is anatomy, that depicts anatomy which is similar to that of a child, then maybe that would "condition" me to become a pedophile.

Instead of being attracted to a whole person, I would thereafter possibly be attracted only to interchangeable anatomical parts.

Psychologists know this, and that is why so much sex is portrayed on television. That way the big corporations have sexual trigger points in the masses of people, to trigger them to buy things they want them to buy.

We are often led to assume that sexual anatomy evolved entirely out of sexual attraction --- visual sexual attraction (the medium of the sellers of pornography) --- without regard to the practicality of other matters such as the bearing of the child, the carrying of it, or its conception, etc.

In sum, I will just say that I think the condition of being gay can be genetic, it can be environmental, and it can be psychological, or any combination of the three of those. And if one element is the "chicken" and another is the "egg" (as far as cause is concerned) --- I would have no idea which is which, or the more dominant factor. (Although environmental pollutants have been proven to really mess up the hormones of wildlife, even though the polluters are always trying to dispute this and say things to the contrary.)

One other item worth mention is that sometimes people (who are too busy to think) can be easily confused regarding genetic PROPENSITIES, and unalterable genetic "fate," so to speak, or FLAWS.

For instance, I once read that blonde-haired, blue-eyed boys have a very high susceptibility to developing allergies. (That was somewhere in Dr. Doris Rapp's books.)* But there are other factors involved in developing allergies, such as exposure to chemicals, and breast-feeding. (Breast-feeding lessens the risk of the child developing allergies later on in life.)

But this is just to point out that there is a difference between genetic PROPENSITIES and genetic "FLAWS." Certainly blonde-haired, blue-eyed boys did fine for centuries without developing allergies, or we would have heard more about these allergies before modern days. But basically they are apparently just more susceptible to other outside factors which bring on the allergies.

From what I know of Parkinson's disease, I also suspect there might be a genetic propensity involved. And I have also suspected that chemical companies have tried to make this propensity appear as an unavoidable fate or genetic "flaw" (so as to detract from their role and responsibility in this debilitation).
