Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: human Cloning in general

"Would a clone army disobey orders and kill all the humans."You've been watching too many Star Wars.A clone is a baby. It is not a xerox copy of a full grown adult. In order to have an army of clones you would also need an army of mothers to carry the fetuses to term, to nurse, education and nurture the children into adulthood. In other words you would need an army of obedient, order taking women to begin with in order to raise all these babies for 18 to 20 years. And if you already had control over a group of mothers what would you need to clone for? You already have your army of obedient women. Before you solve the scientific problem of how to clone, you have to solve the problem of how do you brainwash people already here? Do you know how? Because you could make a fortune from any number of government who have tried and failed repeatedly through out history to control masses of people.A clone is not a drone. There is nothing in the act of cloning an embryo that alters the personality of brain of the clone. If the original had genes that make him an independent, happy go lucky person then his clone is likely to have the same personality traits. If the original was a hardworking sober type then his clone is likely to be much the same.A cloned army of Jango Fett is morely to become a bunch of loner bounty hunters, running around indepently like Fett himself, rather become passive order takers. It's not cloning you worry about but brainwashing. I know several sets of identical twins. None of them are passive or under the control of anyone. Regardless of how they started out, by the time a person becomes a person they are completely independent. At one time you were nothing more than a single cell in your mother's body. Are you now her complete slave, therefore? Do you lack a feeling of separate identity? How you are conceived has no impact on how you act later on. An army of clones would be very expensive to raise and pointless. It is to no one's advantage outside of science fiction.
