human Cloning in generalturin14 ( 05/10/2003, 06:40:58 )Sure there are possible benefits of humasn cloning. I say possible because science is not up to the point to clone humans only animals some of the time. Cloning delete several diseases known to mankind- cloning also might give us immortality. A clone army might be an option in the future and of course doubles. Here is my question do the possible benefits of cloning outweigh the means. Cloning is being debated in congress. The president made it clear that he would like to outlaw cloning. The house of represenatives supports banning cloning- but the senate may not share that view. Do the benefits outweigh the gains. Would a clone army disobey orders and kill all the humans. Would a master race be created and the weaklings be forced to serve them like the negros served the white people. Would you really like to have two of you running around- when some of us are so disgusted with only one of you? Would living forever overpopulate the earth and destroy its resources and would we buy our children at the local store where they are sold? Would life, itself, be degraded so that human experiments could be done like the Nazis during World War II. Sure there might be benefits of cloning- but does that outweigh the consequences. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
