erin ( 05/13/2005, 19:54:29 )There needs to be a seperation between church and state to protect our religious liberties. I personally do not want some Billy Gram type jerk in office dictating how or when I should worship. I go to church on the seventh day in accordance with the bible. I do not want someone who is going to decide if we are christian we should by law be made to keep sunday as the Sabbath. That could and probably would eventually happen. Someone would decide his way was the christian way and anyone disagreeing would be out of luck. We must not mix church and state for these reasons. It protects christians. Do you want someone telling you how to worship?
