darth_olive ( 06/25/2003, 08:02:59 )Well your wrong about the breeding of humans being easier then gentic modification (GM) "pure" breeding would take lots of time and would still not only result in "pure" humans. (I dont belive that any human is "pure" so dont get me wrong im useing pure as an example) May I ask you what you belive reproduction is for? I think that the reason any reature reproduces is so that the species can continue to live then after many millions of years change into a new and "better" race. It is not just os we can have kids and bring the "joy and happiness of children" into our lives. As far a always dying is concerned it depends on your definition of life. It will be possible in the future to implant a human brain into a robot there for meaning that they are no longer confined by the decay of the human body giving them imortality in all respects of the word.
