omegamog ( 06/18/2003, 12:17:17 )we would stop being human, creating destroyingourselves, lowering the value of life to a mere object, altering our very being, to acheive a futile goal.by your logic we should kill all the people with genetic disorders thus purifing our gene pool, then when a new "good" mutation is prodused, we mass breed those humans with it and eventuall destroy the ones without the new good gene. for improving the human race this method works much better than cloning and GMbesides no matter how hard we try, how far we go, we WILL die. one way or another, therefore you cant really better the human race by doing such things if we all end up the same anyway
