darth_olive ( 06/15/2003, 09:21:17 )I can see what you are saying about the unknown good the person could have done but they could also do horribly things as well like mass murder, but thats not even the point because those people would never have been created because the reason they were created was to save the person already alive so even if they would have grown up to be a great scientist because they never would have been created in the first place. Also if we persue cloning and GM we could create people who we know are going to be smart and powerful so we could just create one of they when ever nessary. True it would be hard to stop but why would we need to stop?
