They look similiar, but the humans were slightly smarter which is why they survived to today.It's a misconception that species will always evolve better and better, sometimes, they can evolve to become dumber and dumber.genetic mutation is what causes change, a mother can give birth to a dumb baby and a smart baby. When they grow up, natrual selection determines that the dumb one gets killed because he can't hunt food or navigate the jungle effciently. The smart one will live on and give birth....
