hypernurb ( 07/04/2003, 08:35:50 )Do you think humans became the ruler of planet earth because of physical abilities? Humans can't catch up to other animals in terms of physical abilities. Plus do you think stronger people have more children than weaker people? Of course not. Evolve is a huge misconception, it doesn't happen at all. There's only genetic mutation, which doesn't really have a goal, it can make you better or worse, it can make you smarter or dumber, or stronger or weaker. Natural selection is the key. And natural selection doesn't really happen in human civilization. So don't think that people will keep evolving better and better. Evoluation may not be completely halted yet, but it's defiantely's going to become slower, like 100 times slower.
