Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: Tragedy in the making...?

EYE_AM_CRAZY ( 09/05/2003, 13:44:23 )

Consider this... Our DNA, what does it try to do? It upgrades itself throughout generations. It tries to make sure our descendents have a chance at life. But how about those who need help? People who were born with diseases, complications, etc. Would you try and save a child suffering from a fatal blood related disease? Would you give it a chance to live? Would you give it a chance to live normally?I believe god's greatest gift to man was life and knowledge. Armed with this knowledge, we should help others. How can you be so heartless to let someone die and live on by yourself? (Although I do not believe in god nor disbelieve it: Agnosticism)Could it be that we are heading to our doom, reaching mass starvation, death, chaos?I believe with technology, we can improve quality of life, education, and equality. There will always be the ignorant and ignorance. The benefits of cloning outweigh the prevention of progression.
