john bachert ( 09/18/2003, 23:46:36 )this is what stem cell research is all about as alternative to cloning a human body, scientist are working on vital organ and limb reproduction for replacement parts made/fashioned from a persons own body chemistry, which would also eliminate all the anti rejection drugs a person must take for life after receiving transplants from other humans. yes, i believe that in time (if it's allowed) nearly every if not all human components will be reproduced and replacable from a persons own chemistry, maybe this is how and why humans use to live well into their mid to upper 100's, some lived into their 1,000 years, so the theories of the bible say. i would love to live to be 200 years, maybe more! isn't this our right if it is possible? or to be able to allow a child the right to run, read, hear,live? sure the population is gaining vastly that's why we are looking for another habitable planet to invade maybe it wouldn't be too bad to be abducted by some extraterrestrial lifeform, maybe that's how we got here?? who knows for sure? think totally different from programmed beliefs stand and be counted in support of vital organ and limb reproduction via stem cells, imagine a child never hearing, can be given this gift, or a child born with no legs to walk can now look forward to running with his/her brothers/sisters/friends, or able to write because a child has a hand replacement, all without taking anti-rejection drugs or some government agency or religious sector denying that right?
