Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: Defective Babies

I DONT THINK YOU MAKE A VALID POINT AT ALL. YES IT WOULD BE IMMORAL AND SELFISH TO RISK DEFECTS IN A CHILD THAT CAN BE PREVENTED BY NOT TRYING TO CLONE A BABY. YOU DONT HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE DEFECTS THEY WOULD! YES, EVERYONE DOES HAVE NATURAL IMPERFECTIONS AND IN A WAY WE DO HAVE SOME RISK IN CHILDBEARING BUT THAT IS A NATURAL PROCESS,WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IS NOT A NATURAL PROCESS AND SUBJECT TO HUMAN ERROR. I DO NOT CONSIDER MYSELF INHUMAN IN FACT I THINK YOU ARE VERY IGNORENT TO SUGGEST THAT PUTTING A DEATH SENTENCE ON HANDICAPPED CHILDREN IS THE SAME AS PREVENTING A BIRTH DEFECT. I DO NOT THINK THEY KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THE PROCESS TO TRY TO CLONE A HUMAN BABY. I WOULD CERTAINLY HOPE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE ALL THE BUGS WORKED OUT BEFORE THEY EVEN ATTEMPTED SUCH A THING.
