erin ( 09/25/2003, 02:37:33 )most people on this board dont make a living at science but we are still curious. mabey we arnt as educated as you but you need to learn some tact. you can explain things to people without attacking them with an in your face way. people have feelingsand it did come across to me that you went at people in a smug manner. i actually enjoy hearing about breakthroughs in science, but you just came across the wrong way. perhaps you were not intending to be hateful to john the angry man but it came across like you were belittling him and no one likes a smart ass. we like to be educated but not made fun of. i also apologize for the head up your butt remark it was rude and not a nice thing to say.
