Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: HOW DID DOLLY THE SHEEP DIE?

libfemme ( 09/24/2003, 02:49:52 )

Dolly didn't die from being cloned or obese. She was killed. Put to sleep by her owners.Animals are regularly killed rather than healed by their owners since they are considered expendable. Rancher's shot horses with broken legs. Farmers kills cows with hoof and mouth disease. It was possible to treat to Dolly medically and keep her living until her natural death, but she's a sheep, not a person. Her owners, the Roslin Institute is funded by the British government. They have been in the forefront of opposing human cloning claiming cloning would cause medical problems. Putting Dolly to sleep was their choice and also proved their political argument.
