Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Politics

libfemme ( 09/30/2003, 05:03:57 )

It's a compromise between the university researchers who want federal funds and the religious right which wants no research on human embryos. GW Bush agreed to renew federal funding to universities for human cloning research if they used embryos had have already been harvested and cloned. The damage, whatever that is, has already been done to them so holding back funding won't do any good. However, no new ells can be harvested from new people because that would be increasing the number of embryos destroyed.I actually responded to your post in depth on the other forum site.
