Re: CLONING

Not necessarily. Remember God also makes 60 million identical twins and triplets in the world too. Have you ever met identical twins in school or elsewhere? They are definately very separate individuals and yet they have identical genetics and a common upbringing.Genes are a powerful component of who we are, BUT they are not 100% of what makes us. Environmental factors such as chemical factors in the womb, diet etc. has an equally strong affect on how a person develops. Then there is personal experience. No two people, not even siblings, can have the identical experiences in life so their memories and personalities will be different.A cloned individual would be even more different from it's partner than a natural identical twin is now.1. A clone has different mitochrondra from it's parent 2. A clone would be gestated in a different mother at a different time 3. A clone would be raised in a different social environment, a different set of parents that raised it, different time period etc. Those generational things affect how people turn out also.A clone is just a baby. It has no way of knowing whether or not it's genes exist in another human being and it doesn't care. Think about yourself, for example. One half of your genes are identical to one half of your mother's genes now. That may make you similiar to her and cause a certain bonding between you, and yet I am sure you have no trouble distinguishing yourself as very separate from her. Even if 100% of your genes came from your mother, you would still feel you are a separate individual with the right to live your life in your own way. There is more to individuality than just ones genes.
