Pro Cloning Governor Elected

Arnold Schwarzenegger apparently labeled opponents of cloning as religious fanatics according to an article in the San Francisco Chronicle on Aug. 31, 2003.Although a Republican and a fiscal conservative, Schwarzenegger's social views are more enlightened. He is pro sexual freedom and pro cloning. Since he has made some of the very movies that perpetuate the evil science fiction misnomers about cloning that opponents of cloning often take serious and trot out as arguments against cloning it is encouraging to see that at least Schwarzenegger can tell fiction from reality even if his fans cannot.Schwarzenegger believes reproductive cloning should remain legal. His support of reproductive cloning may do a great deal in repairing the reputation of cloning and getting people to look at the science and not the fiction.
