Illegal Beings: Human Clones

a little help

questions ( 10/02/2003, 06:12:05 )

the situation is that i have to prepare a brief debate about the pros of human cloning for my biology class. i have started some research already and have checked in to some of the medical benefits, longer life, less disease and whatnot. what i really need is some insight to the benefits of the actual cloning of humans. honestly the only thing i think of regarding human cloning is dont do it. the science isnt there and it seems that people are wanting to jump ahead of the game. i believe Malthus has been proven correct. on an already "crowded" planet what benefit could there be. if anyone could give me some scientific non religious arguments for human cloning i would appreciate the help. sources of information for reference reasons would also be appreciated. thanks.
