erin ( 10/13/2003, 20:59:26 )I beleave that it is encouraged that young girls get married and start having babies assoon as possible. my grandmother was married at twelve andhad her first baby at thirteen years old. This is not uncommen practice even to this day. My cousan Rosa for example was married at twelve she had to go to Texas to do it because the Judge refused to do it here. My aunt said since she was pregnant she should go ahead and marry him. The guy she married was 28 years old. I dont know why he isnt in prison, anyway she had two kids before she could leagally drive. They wre married by a priest who I guess didnt see a problem with it. I feel that by alloying him to marry her they condoned child molesting.
