Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Direct is good...

Dougpolija ( 10/14/2003, 23:47:19 )

I agree with being direct and aware of where you stand. But despite your position the ability to logically and analytically debate things. I believe it is very correct for the more part that most clones will be undetected. It will, though, add to the terrible things that kids can say about each other. Just as one sibling has told another that they were adopted. And caused unmeasureble distress. This is only a small thing to consider when discussing such a topic as cloning. The thing that should be above all most important is how sure are we of the ability to clone when in fact there is so much we still do not know about the sciences surrounding the human animal? It is apperant that humans are very different than any other animal on the planet with only primates being our closest relative (or so anthropologists say). How can we determine the affect of such medical advances when in fact we only have one life to live and truly are not able to measure the success or failure of these things? I am merely raising some other things to consider before we start to concern our selves with such a trivial thing as racism (which I see constantly among existing populations of "different" species of humans).
