Re: The Real Clone Wars which star trek?SC ( 10/17/2003, 07:56:41 )I don't know the episode title, but it was a Next Generation episode. It was one of the ones where Picard plays Dixon Hill, the detective. The polite guy was a fat balding crime boss in a white suit.I've watched a lot of Star Trek and generally enjoy it, but I don't like how every time they get offered paradise, they turn it down. There's one episode where Picard becomes 14 years old again because of a transporter accident, but he makes himself old again because his supposedly enlightened 24th century crew can't accept him in his younger body. There's definitely anti-cloning prejudice in Star Trek Next Generation, like in the movie Nemesis and the episode with the planet full of clones (eventually, they crossbreed the clones with a bunch of money-grubbing Irish peasants). Not that the Irish peasants weren't great characters, but the clones were hardly developed to the same degree. Riker, who's tried to shag every alien woman he's ever met, shows nothing but disgust for the clones, even though the women are quite pretty. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
