The Death Cultlibfemme ( 09/24/2003, 13:27:38 )short is not a measurement but a relative term. How short is a piece of string? It depends. Is dying at age 45 short? If everyone in your area and time dies by that age, then you might judge it not short. If, however, you could live to 80 but you die at 45, isn't that short? The point is there is no obsolute perfect age to die. One does it when one has to. And one puts it off as long as one can.I am not certain why some people think that being Christian is an explanation for opposing long life. If I recall several persons in Genesis are listed with what we could consider advantaged age. But then Christianity is based on redemption after death. If one postpones death, one postpones redemption. Under that theory the earlier you die the better. Strange cult, that.Fortunately, I know many Christians who do not see any contradiction between their religion and living lives made long and fruitful by science. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
