I think he sees cloning as one more way to help infertile couples. But the press wants the negative story, because anti-cloning and cloning Hitler and other hogwash is the hottest story to tell. Thus, the press is out to find and twist and spin up any negative stories about Zavos that they can to increase their sales of newspapers, or listeners to radio, or viewership for TV. The press does not focus on all the good that human cloning and cloning technology can do.
