Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: cloning---a blessing or a curse

a blessing or a curse --- Randolfe ( 11/02/2003, 07:34:10 )

The best way to handle drugs is not exactly "legalizing" them. You "decriminalize" them. That means they are "forbidden substances" that the police can seize and take away from you but they can't send you to jail for having $10 worth of pot in your pocket. Use could be discouraged since Police could raid a dealer's apartmenta nd seize all his supply but couldn't send him to prison. The real "crime" about the drug laws isn't that they don't stop drug abuse, it is that they fill our prisons with nonviolent people and we spend $30,000 a year keeping these harmless people locked up.
