erin ( 10/31/2003, 21:48:57 )I think fathers are very much needed I couldnt even imagine my children not having their daddy. He is the most loving father I know and both my little girls are daddy's girls. I grew up without a father around and I always felt an empty spot. I beleave the father is veryimportant to the adjustment and well being of the children, girls in paticular because you look at your father as a model of what you want in a future husband. (exept me but only cause mine wasnt there.) I think I used my Grandfathers as role models somewhat. Well I gotta go but I just wanted to say fathers are very important and other feminists need to realize this and not look at it as oppressive but needed.
