While I agree that cloning is dangerous at this time, I believe informed couples/or women have the right to take the chance if they are putting their bodies at risk and assume responsibility for raising the child however he/she arrives. The "hidden problem" in this "after reproductive cloning is safe" argument is that no progress will be made unless someone is willing to be a pioneer. Remember the "safety" issue kept IVF from happening for thirty or forty years.
