People suffering from it are wonderful warm and loving children that never grow up enough to leave home and care for themselves. While the comparison might anger some people, having a child like this is like having a very intelligent pet. A lot of people with disabilities are nevertheless happy to have been born. Some like Stephen Hawking in England have made real contributions to the world of knowledge.
