Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: The Cons of Cloning

I see what you mean. A lot of anti-cloners (like me when I first came here, I hope I'm better now) make petty arguments and bring up verses from the bible that aren't very relevant. But I am christian, and for cloning humans for infertile people at least. The thing is that I think it is too risky to try cloning humans at present, and people like Dr.Zavos aren't fit to do it, in my view. I think we should only try it when we at least had the same risk rate in clones as in normal reproduction. I heard that you wish to have a later-born identical twin (sorry for being a bit harsh about you in other messages, you are entitled to your view) do you mean that you want a clone? I thought you wanted to have a brother or something, but is it your brother, or would you be a father? I wonder if a clone wouldn't feel a bit awkward because of many reasons, like being made in a lab or his "twin"(I am assuming that you are a man, if you're a woman then sorry) was the one who chose to bring him into the world. I think it would be a bit selfish to make yourself a clone for your own convenience, and to say that you have an unborn twin waiting to be cloned is a bit stupid in my view, as it doesn't exist. Anyway, got to go, hope I got some of my thoughts through. John
