Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Germany is Cracking

libfemme ( 11/10/2003, 00:51:41 )

Currently research is prohibited on stem cells created after January 1, 2002.She still does not support creating embryos for therapuetic cloning but she is now willing to allow embryo's left over from IVF to be used in research.Chancellor Schröder may support the Justice Minister's position and this may be a trial balloon by the government to allow Germany not to be left behind in the biotech race.
