erin ( 11/04/2003, 22:12:58 )I didnt know that about Islam, and I know more about Islam than most other christians because I had a uncle who I cared a great deal for who was muslim. I took the time to red and study their teachings and I found them to be very similer to christian in fact I found it very interesting that they are closer to excepting Jesus than the jews are. The koran has an entire chapter devoted to Mary for instance. My Uncle said if the extremist terrorists actually read the Koran they would see that they were horrible moslems because they do not follow the instuctions of conduct. Killing women, children, elderly, and infirm are forbidden. I guess we have violent extremests in all religious denominations though, Be they christian, jew, muslim,or hindu, etc.
