SC ( 11/05/2003, 07:16:48 )I think you opposed Bionic Virus too, in fact you were one of the first ones to do so, and you did well for someone apparently half her age and with far less training and education. You were doing well enough that I didn't think I'd even have to reply to her, until she started using sneakier methods. I think people who read your posts will be able to see that. I did not make this last reference to the Bionic Virus exchanges to hurt or provoke you; there were many people involved in those exchanges, and many others not involved who would have written similar things to what you did.I'm here to save my own life and those of other people. The medical advance that might save me or someone I love may be 100 years in the future, or it may be 20, who knows? However much time I may have, though, time is of the essence. You are more in favor of cloning now, and taking stabs at someone who doesn't threaten me would be a waste of my time and effort. I know I might have come across as being mean to you, but I have not written the words I have to you out of meanness. I have written as I did because I thought I might gain some insight into what makes people change their minds about cloning, and perhaps I could use that insight to change other people's minds more quickly.I try to adress people's concerns about cloning as completely as I can, but that can also keep me from knowing what has worked and what hasn't, because for whatever reason, the poster doesn't usually reply. Your posts are valuable because they allow me and perhaps others to learn from someone who has been in the process of changing his mind.
