SC ( 11/12/2003, 07:48:01 )Adam and Eve were made asexually, and Eve was made by a method similar to cloning. Humans didn't start reproducing sexually until after they rebelled against God and were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Cloning could just as easily be interpreted as a state of grace, and sexual reproduction as a form of punishment.God also gave people free will, which they can use to make choices that improve their health (in Biblical times, this meant not eating pork and other meats vulnerable to contamination, getting circumcised, etc.). In fact, even though pork is safer today, there's a far lower rate of AIDS infection among African tribes in which men are circumcised. If God didn't want people to live longer and healthier lives, and or if exercising our free will weren't required to make us healthy, why is there health advice in the Bible?
