Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: Sodom and Gomorrah

It is true in the OLD TESTAMENT God punished everyone, but in these cases, it was a majority rule type of thing. God only punished several people when it was ALMOST everyone who was sinning. Also, in Noah's Ark, not EVERYONE was punished, Noah and his family were saved from the flood for staying steadfast in their faith. I think it is unfair to say that the reason we are against cloning is because we "fear" God's wrath. The bible does refer to fearing the Lord, but in the sense of awe, not being frightened. In the Old Testament of the Bible God had a covenant with the people, and they lived by the law. Later, God invoked a new covenant, and he created the New Testament in which we are told about Jesus's life and how we are free from condemnation because he died for our sins. We no longer have to fear being punished for someone else's sins, becaus we have a NEW covenant with God.
