Search under the name "stem cell" instead and you'll find more references. Stem cells are the noun, cloning the verb. The Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research (CAMR) is comprised of nationally-recognized patient organizations, universities, scientific societies, foundations, and individuals with life-threatening illnesses and disorders, advocating for stem cell research and somatic cell nuclear transfer. See their link below.If you mean reproductive cloning specifically look for doctors and biologists in the fertility field, such as IVF (invitro fertiliation).The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, a professional group for physicans in the ferility field has held conferences in which papers were submitted on reproductive cloning.Isreal did some early work on cloning. Talmudic law says neither egg, sperm nor early-stage embryo have value: embryos are persons until 40 days old. However, international pressure, particularly from the US government has forced Israeli scientists from reproductive cloning since 1998.Islamic countries also do not recognize embryos as persons. Iran lead the coalition that voted to shelve the US and Catholic countries call for a cloning ban in the UN.
