Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: aging process

SC ( 11/13/2003, 00:24:18 )

People have already found this balance. The longer they live, the more slowly they reproduce. Some developed countries have actually had decreases in population. The only way these countries increase their populations now is through immigration. People in developing countries have more children because they have no social safety net and expect that they will need children to take care of them in their old age. This is a concern I have heard and answered several times before. If you want to give food for thought, why don't you say why you are really against cloning? What is the underlying motive? Why do you try to think only of things that could go wrong? That's the really interesting question, and no one has yet been able to give me a good answer.
