Look at these advantages. they might helpful 4 u• Embryonic stem cells can be grown to produce tissues or organs to replace damaged ones. For example, growing skin for burn victims, brain cells for brain damaged people and hearts for people with heart failures. • Cloning could be used in improving animal genes (e.g. cows) to make them produce very useful human proteins in their milk. • It can also be used to clone animals for research purposes for the sake of human beings. • It might help in combating genetic diseases by turning off bad genes and turning on the good genes. • Cloning could make it possible for infertile people to eventually have children. • It could reverse heart attacks by cloning the person’s healthy heart cells and injecting them into the damaged areas of his/her heart. • People can no longer suffer from their defective genes . They will remain healthy using the cloning technology. • It can also be used to prevent Down’s syndrome, Tay-Sachs disease, liver and kidney failures, cancer by switching off the defective cells, leukemia and spinal cord injuries by growing nerves or the spinal cord back again. • It can also be useful for people who had lost their child recently by cloning that child again as if he was not dead. • Cloning endangered species may protect them from extinction.
