If Tristem really has come across something that can turn any adult somatic cell back into a stem cell then scientists would not have to go looking for stem cells in an aged patient. Any cell of theirs could be induced to rejuvenate, go back to its embryonic stage and start again.This technique could stop the progression of old age. Any damaged, diseased or worn out organ could be made healthy again.
