Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: How will we retrieve the memories of those that we clone?

Actually, from what I remember from biology and medical courses, neurons (nerve cells assoc.w/the brain and spinal cord) do not replicate at all in your body, and brain cells do much much less frequently than other somatic cells. Also--you were very incorrect when you stated flatly that half of your genes are copies of your mother's genes, and half are copies of your father's genes. During meiosis (formation of gametes for sexual reproduction) a lot of genetic crossing over occurs, and many different alleles (molecular forms of genes) come about. If you, dearheart, were actually a clone, you would obviously look identical to your parents. Even though some features are similar, this is obviously not the case. I am not saying I'm against cloning, but don't oversimplify things.
