Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: How will we retrieve the memories of those that we clone?

libfemme ( 11/15/2003, 17:56:09 )

Memory is carried in the cells of our brains, not in our genes. Right now your brain is "cloning" itself. Every time your body grows any new cells to repair itself, to grown or to record new memories it only has one way to do it; one of your existing cells makes a copy of itself, that is called cloning. YOU, dearheart are a clone. You are a collection of trillions of cloned cells now. Each and every cell in your body has the same genetic information. As you age some parts of your body slow down repairing itself. In other words you stop cloning yourself. Therapuetic cloning means to induce your own cells to start cloning again so that organs can start repairing and growing again. If you remove one of your cells, induce it to start divide and implant it in a woman's womb it will develop into a baby. Babies do not now carry the memories of their parents, right? One half of your genes are completely identical to one half of your mother's genes. Do you have one half of your mother's memories? Cloning is a means of making new cells, not a type of individual.A "cloned" baby is a baby like any other. Just like identical twins are separate individuals, a new baby, regardless of who it shares genes with, is a separate and new individual.
