There should be no reason to have to compromise in the issue of cloning, for there has yet to have been a logical argument against it. The same fallicies of " clones might have souls" and " it is a crime againt god" are completely unsupported, because one cannot justify something intangable. The facts are the only tangable reality that humans can comprehend, therefore it should be first noted. Fact: coning may offer the abilty to grow for replacment organs that a patient may have to wait years for on current organ doner lists. Fact: hundreds die while on this waiting list. Fact: science is within reach of creating an efficent method to create clones. If this will offend god, then he can stop us like he did the sodiemites. But until then, there is no reason to handicap progress.
