john l bachert ( 02/10/2004, 06:42:28 )that is because the concept either wasn't explained or they didn't have the intelligence to understand that, they didn't want to, but then reality happened and they couldn't deal with it. th at is just another spin to the possibilities. it may be that someday just our mindless/brainless cloned bodies(of our choice)will be allowed and our own brains will be transplantable? maybe the portion of our brain that gives us the ability to know who we are will be able to be transplanted? that would be neat, most humans don't want to here about that kind of thing because they're too programmed to think different that's like the fact that if humans used 10% of their intelligence we would exist for eons to come, but there are only a few of us who do use more than 10% gee! if we could boost to 50% look out universe. personally i'd like to live a couple hundred years, and that is my choice as a human to desire and wish for, yes i can hear the snickers now, but i understand those who think the same, yet others who think it but fear to speak it. i'm still! breathing and i ask (society) forbidden questions. did i spook anyone? sorry about that, some say i'm insane, maybe, maybe not, but i know i am not alone peace friends
