john l bachert ( 02/29/2004, 02:42:55 )is there a next world? no proof! as for playing god, that's not my thing, if that entity does exist, great! i guess it gives others something to believe in. why does god keep being thrown into the equation? we don't really know if this exists for sure. some may say i have lost faith, or that i am not a believer yet in something there is no solid proof of, i take a look around and the pain and suufering children experience, from cancers abuse and other otrocities, i see our waters air and land becoming more and more polluted, these idiots running our country and others, instead of investing all of our acquired intelligence and technology into the better of mankind and our future existance, they squander it on ways to become us extinct and keep throwing up road blocks against medical and health technologies: stem cell research, so why isn't this God squashing them?. like this recent surge in gasoline prices, there we go again, if everyone would refuse to buy gasoline for three days straight they'd be losing money and forced to lower prices, this is deliberate, yet of course 80% of american, are too stupid to get together on these issues and regain control over the government. i could go on forever, and i too am a contributor to pollution, but i see the need to change, i know there are others who believe as i do, but more are ignorant or afraid to make a change, stand up and say enough!! just like this web site on humancloning, we dicker back and forth about the pro's and cons right's and wrongs of technology that we have ourselves learned and become so dependant on, well the reality of it is simple in another sense, so even if god created us, yet meant for us to remain idiots with no minds at all, doesn't god have the power to stop it? makes no sense at all. who gave god the right to keep us unaware of the truths, did we ask to be created if that is the case? why should we be punished for something that is alledged to be out of our control? contradiction everyway we turn, personally! i don't believe in this satan entity, i dare it to prove it?self, war mongers are evil, child abusers are evil, corrupt governments and their tentacles are evil, but there's no satan! i believe more in the possibilities of a supreme being in the extraterrestrial form, but not spiritual, maybe to the people of those times is was considered a spiritual being that consequently became the current human beliefs. but see! i am content with belieing as i do, but the other reality and my human right remains, if technology come around to allow humans to live longer, via organ and limb reproduction replacement even to the point of being able to clone a spare body and the ability to someday be able to transplant our own brain into for extended life, (yes sounds sci-fi but that would be my right to do if it be possible, i don't need some greedy government official or religious fanatic telling me i can't, when i know damn well people within the government are experimenting with this technology behind closed doors, for purposes of what is called evil: armies of cloned killers, mindless and only for destruction and more control over we the people, sorry! i deserve and retain the same right, and anyone who wishes not to partake, that's their choice, and just as much not my right to impose my desires, yet i have the right to speak of it also, and to teach what i believe. after all is that not why white people came to this land to do? be free to practice and teach their religion, without persecution from the british government and other dominant religions of the old world. that's what history teaches us, until we learned about the lies of government, what really happened to most native people in this land thanx to white religions who tried to impose their beliefs on the native, we live in a country right now, where our government believes it has the right to condemn terrorism organization around the world, yet condones protects and supports racially motivated terrorist groups and organizations right here in america, some say what has this to do with pro-cloning issues, it is our current government administration who is wishing to control stem cell research and the technology learned and to ban totally the idea of cloning anything, including organ and limb reproduction theough stem cell technology. this is where i sign off for the day. peace to all
