Don't listen to Dixon
SC ( 03/11/2004, 06:50:30 )Patrick Dixon, as far as I can see, is a professional fearmonger. He contends in one chapter of a book accessible from his website that the world is running out of oxygen. Not only is this idea outrageously off-base, it seems likely from some of the arguments he makes that he knows he's wrong. I believe he is deliberately misinforming people and profiting from the suffering he inflicts.If you want to read some well-reasoned arguments about cloning, this site is far superior. The rate at which people post messages on the Dixon board is a tiny fraction of the traffic here.
