Re: Different Views Wantedlibfemme ( 03/04/2004, 02:55:54 )That's an interesting point. How do you know there isn't a clone in your child's classroom now?Since a clone is a person like any other, how would you tell? And if you couldn't tell, why should you care? People also have identical twins. Schools often put twins in different classrooms. Therefore unless you know or see the other sibling, how would you know which child in your child's class room is one of a set of twins? Obviously, you can't. There are no distinguishing marks or behaviors to set twins off from singletons.Since siblings live their own lives when they grow up, how do you know the person you work with isn't one of a set of twins? How about the grocer you buy your food from? Or your pastor? Since there are millions of identical twins in the world odds are you have talked to several in your lifetime without ever knowing it.And if you can't tell them from "regular" people, what makes you think they aren't exactly what they seem, just regular people? Why does the idea of a clone bother you at all? If you aren't going to be there for the first few hours of its existence, when it is actually being cloned, what difference does it make after that? ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
