Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: It's a package deal

This sounds like the "one piece at a time" argument once again. The ultimate goal of medical science is to not have people die at all. Doctors don't swear an oath to relieve suffering only a little bit. A saw a TV show once where a doctor in an emergency ward had to sew up a biker who had been shot and was screaming and swearing at her while she worked to save him. Because of the abuse, and because she was tired, she didn't make a full effort, and sewed the stitches so that they would be subject to breakage if he got into another fight. That happened, the biker died, and she was arrested for murder.People who argue that it's okay to use cloning as long as we help people only a little are doing the same thing as that doctor. They're taking the easy way out and letting people die because of it.
